In June 2007, Crescent Moon Ranch held their first "A Week at the Ranch" Horse Day Camp!  Over
the course of the week, children learned about Safe Horsemanship, Grooming and Handling, Basic Horse
Psychology and Anatomy, Stable Management and Equine Nutrition, Saddling, Bridling, and Tack Care,
and Level I Riding.  At the end of the week, they participated in a Play Day where they competed in
Barrels, Poles, Speed Ball, Speed Barrels, and Single Stake.  Everyone had a great time.  We will be
making "A Week at the Ranch" a regular summer activity.
